Calpeda Mètatank Water Pressure Booster Pump & Tank

Calpeda Mètatank is a break tank and booster set which are assembled together as a highly efficient water pressure boosting pump solution. This complete set up contains everything you need to maximise your water storage and boost the water pressure for your desired application. 

The Mètatank water booster set has a self priming pump with a highly efficient asynchronous motor, built in frequency converter and pressure vessel, a pressure sensor on the discharge outlet, and a non return valve on the inlet suction side.

Mètatank water pressure booster set by Calpeda is suitable for increasing water pressure to showers, taps, garden taps, appliances and for irrigation systems using rainwater harvesting. Dependant on your requirements, the Mèta-S is best suited to these types of applications within a clean water, domestic setting, whereas the Mèta-L with increased flow rate is suitable for clean water domestic, commercial and agricultural settings.

The Mètatank pressure boosters 'plug and play' design means that installation is straight forward and the pressure boosting pump is easy to inspect and maintain thereafter.

The key advantages of this water booster pumps built-in variable speed drive is a constant, reliable water pressure based on demand. As a result of the variable speed drive and asynchronous motor, this Calpeda booster pump has a high energy efficiency rating - EEI 0.42 and is much more efficient than traditional water pressure booster sets.

The Calpeda Mèta self priming, pressure boosting pump has some built-in protective features. If the water supply fails during operation, the booster pump automatically shuts down to protect against dry running, one of the biggest causes of water pump failure.

The water pressure booster tank is fully compliant with potable water and is fully insulated (Type AG, category 3). 
The Calpeda Mètatank water pressure booster is fully assembled and tested prior to delivery saving valueable onsite time. The Mètatank is fully wired to a switched fused spur, so just 3 onsite connections are required: water into the 3/4" ball float valve, water out of the 1" isolating value to the system and a single phase power connection.
