Grundfos SQE 3" Borehole Pumps - Constant Pressure System

Grundfos SQE 3” borehole pumps are commonly used for the pumping of water from smaller boreholes and wells for water supply and irrigation. Their compact diameter enables these submersible borehole water pumps to be used in 3inch boreholes, or 4inch that have reduced in size due to ochre deposits.

Complete with a CU301 intelligent control unit, the SQE range are a ready to install system providing a constant water pressure despite varying demands, thanks to its ability to continuously monitor pump performance.

The SQE Grundfos borehole pumps offer higher performance than other 3” models on the market, with similar flow rate and pressure capabilities to 4” borehole pumps. With their AISI 304 Stainless Steel construction and floating impellers, these Grundfos pumps are constructed to withstand corrosion and offer a reliable service, whilst handling sand content up to a maximum of 50g/m3.

These submersible borehole water pumps are equipped with highly efficient permanent magnet motors with built-in frequency converter with soft start. Soft start reduces the starting current which gives the pump a smooth and steady acceleration, minimising the risk of wear on the pump and prevents overloading of the mains. Also equipped with dry run and under/overload protection, this Grundfos borehole pump range will cut out in the event of lack of water or an unstable voltage supply to prevent motor burnout.
