Lowara GS Borehole Pumps - 230V

Lowara GS borehole pumps are designed for the pumping of water from 4” boreholes and wells. These robust and corrosion resistant submersible borehole water pumps are suitable for applications including water supply, sprinkler irrigation, pressure boosting, geothermal systems and firefighting.

To ensure the efficient handling of high sand content and mineral deposits in the water, the GS Lowara borehole pumps have been designed with self-cleaning, floating impellers that provide optimum resistance against abrasion. Their stainless steel rotating shaft benefits from a ‘V’ ring which also protects the shaft seal from damage caused by such abrasive content. Combined, these features allow for the passing of up to 150 g/m3 of sand; one of the highest in the market.

Lowara GS borehole water pumps are supplied as standard with Lowara L4C motors, which have a pressure compensation diaphragm to allow immersion into wells up to 300m deep. These motors can also be purchased separately. Contact us and let us know which GS pump you have, and we'll quote you for the relevant motor.

These Lowara pumps have been recently redesigned with high efficiency hydraulics, ensuring that their Minimum Efficiency Index (MEI) values meet the Energy-Related Products Directive.

These particular Lowara borehole pump models have 230V motors, you can view the 400V motor versions here. Please note, that pumps over 1.5m in length are supplied uncoupled with their motor packaged separately.

For easier and more automated control over your borehole/well water supply and protection of the pump against things like dry running, overload and system pressure changes, we recommend looking at borehole pump control panels.

Please note: Lowara borehole pumps up to and including 1.1 kW are supplied with a PSC control box to start and protect the motor free of charge. Pumps with 1.5 & 2.2 kW motors require additional control at extra cost.
