ZDS QS4X 4" Borehole Pumps

ZDS QS4X 4” borehole pumps are designed for the pumping of water from 4” boreholes and wells. These high quality, Italian made submersible borehole water pumps are suitable for applications including water supply, sprinkler irrigation, pressure boosting and geothermal systems.

To ensure damage free handling of high sand content (up to 120g/m3) and where mineral deposits such as iron or manganese are present, the ZDS borehole pumps have been designed with self-cleaning, technopolymer impellers. Thanks to the pump body’s AISI 304 Stainless Steel construction, they are constructed specifically for anti-corrosion.

ZDS QS4X submersible borehole water pumps have a low starting-torque, guaranteeing long life and reliable operation even where a significant voltage drop from the mains power supply is experienced. Supplied with a thick stainless cover cable to protect wires from damage during installation, ZDS pumps are simple to install and maintain.

These ZDS pumps are supplied without motor and must be purchased separately. As an experienced borehole pump supplier, we recommend using a Franklin® Electric motor to power your QS4X submersible borehole water pump – see table above for required kW or contact us for advice. Franklin pump motors are highly efficient which keep your running costs down and have a protective hermetically sealed stator and anti-track, self-healing stator resin to prevent motor burn out.

For easier and more automated control over your borehole/well water supply and protection of the pump against things like dry running, overload and system pressure changes, we recommend looking at borehole pump control boxes.
