The water filter cartridges for boreholes and private water supplies are produced to guarantee a high nominal filtration level by removing sediments such as silt and sand. As water extracted from a borehole or well is likely to contain dirt, sediments and other contaminants that can make it taste and smell bad, these standard ground water filters complete with filter housing are a cost-efficient solution. The polypropylene water supply filters effectively remove sediments such as sand, silt, rust and suspended solids. 

The private water supply filter housings are made from heavy duty high quality polypropylene and are WRAS approved, meaning that these are suitable for drinking and can be used for agricultural, industrial and domestic applications. These water filters housings can be used individually or coupled together in a borehole filtration system to achieve a staged removal of impurities or in parallel to allow high flow filtration of private water supply. The beauty of these 10’’ ground water filter housings is that they are equipped with a built in pressure relief valve which enables accumulated air to be released after cartridge replacement.
